Masonic Temple

The 1873 Grand Lodge of the Free and Accepted Masons of Pennsylvania is a highly-ornamented Gothic Romanesque landmark. The building is listed on both the National and Philadelphia Registers of Historic Places and is a National Historic Landmark. Keast & Hood Co. provided structural engineering consultation for an Historic Structures Report documenting a comprehensive condition assessment and recommendations for stabilization and restoration of the exterior granite and interior brick walls of the building. Following the HSR, Keast & Hood Co. provided oversight for the exterior masonry repair and restoration project. The firm also valuated the roof structure and designed subsequent roof repairs and related masonry stabilization.
