Masonry Stabilization

Church of Saint Katherine
Baltimore, MD

Built in 1882, the Church of Saint Katherine of Alexandria is a load-bearing masonry building that was damaged by significant structural settlement. A detailed survey was performed to document structural damage and provide plans for stabilization. Repairs included selective repointing of masonry facades and crack injection on interior masonry walls. An assessment of the original timber scissor trusses was also conducted.
