Mr. Doukakis has more than twenty-five years of structural engineering experience. He graduated from Drexel University in 1981 with a BSCE, and earned an MSCE from Drexel University in 1988. He joined Keast & Hood Co. in 1986 after involvement with power generating plant design, and became a principal of the firm in 1989. He is registered in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. His principal involvement has included working with design-oriented architects on complex institutional and commercial building projects where he excels at developing economical structural systems sensitive to serviceability and future maintenance needs. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, International Code Council, American Institute of Steel Construction, and Past President of the Delaware Valley Association of Structural Engineers. He is currently serving as President of The Carpenters’ Company of the City and County of Philadelphia. Mr. Doukakis remains personally involved in projects through completion to ensure the goals of design quality and client service are consistently met.
