Designed to accommodate live performance, lectures, and movies, the theater features a concrete divider that ascends from the basement to create two acoustically separate spaces. The building includes a 1,200-seat theater with a ballet practice facility, lecture rooms, and offices, as well as pivoting seating on each side of a moveable thrust stage and a piano lift. The theatre's complex masonry façade complements adjacent historic buildings.
