Linderman Library
Lehigh University
Bethlehem, PA

An extensive transformation project will equip the 125+ year old library with contemporary technology, climate control, and accessibility features, as well as new classrooms and a humanities commons space. Structural components include a new steel-frame utility building constructed below grade, a steel-frame connection between the library's two towers at the fourth-floor level, infill of an existing skylight, support for a glass flooring system in the lobby, plus various modifications for new elevators, stairs, and light wells to brighten the stack areas.
