Museum MEP Upgrade
University of Pennsylvania
Philadelphia, PA

Phase I of a multi-phase MEP upgrade project required structural engineering expertise to design a below-grade concrete building beneath a courtyard garden and pool, both of which were renovated and restored to original 1899 condition. The underground building features perimeter skylights to bring natural light within its subterranean spaces. Later phases of the project will integrate ductwork and upgrade air-handling systems throughout the Wilson Eyre-designed museum.
