Religious
Saint David’s Episcopal Church
Wayne, PA
This 700-seat chapel with contiguous classroom and mechanical spaces and a 110-foot tall steeple was designed in the aesthetic of the original chapel built on the site in 1715. The new structure utilizes a combination of structural steel and reinforced concrete masonry and features scissor trusses in order to maximize the interior ceiling height. The exterior walls employ a coursed fieldstone veneer to match the earlier building on the site.
